How are ratings calculated?
Ratings are calculated using Evan Miller's method (based on a Wilson score confidence interval) that is self-correcting. This means that the % of positive ratings & number of ratings decide a mods position on the top charts. The benefit of this approach is a mod with 2 positive ratings will not outrank one with 10 positive ratings but 2 negative. Nor will a mod with tons of rankings outrank everything unless most of the ratings are positive.
Rating levels
Ratings range from overwhelmingly positive to overwhelmingly negative. The color changes depending where on the scale the mod fits.

I'd really like to know why those both people with thumbs down don't like this mod. If noone tells, there can hardly be an improvement.

Would like to see this mod add more power to the cranes.

Oh well, let me explain. As you said you replaced the vanilla one with my cranes i take it you know which files you need to edit.
I'd suggest a program like notepad++ even though any texteditor will suffice.
In my mod where 5 *.xml files in the ..../truck/addons folder.
Just open each of those files with any texteditor.
For Example i'll use the big russian crane.
The Values i changed are listed below the code in each xml file.
I think the values you should be looking for are the 'Motor Force'-Values in the lines:
25
75
90
105
Just be sure to keep a backup copy of the files in case something goes wrong.
Happy experimenting with your own first mod :-D

Nice, if you want to, you also can combine your mod and mine into one.

i dont see any differance in the mini crane

If you're referring to the russian minicrane, there isn't much change really. About half a meter i think.
The big cranes and us minicrane however should have a easily recognizable extended reach
Also the modified cranes all sport my VDM tag in the garage.
This mod won't work with cranes that are not referring to the vanilla ones, FE the Porter

yeh i noticed they as longer but they still drop when u move them with a load on full extension i over rid the vanilla ones with yrs

i just changed the usable length, not the power the cranes have. If you're into it you could change the values yourself as xml-editing is pretty easy

im not into it no clue what im doing lol
