Hey everyone.  I decided to bite the bullet and build a gooseneck pack.  There are two variations of each trailer, one for use with low saddles for any truck that has them, and one specific for the gooseneck hitch that can be added to a modders (or tweakers) truck.  There is one known glitch at this moment.  The medium log trailer sinks into the ground when detached while loaded with logs.  Im still looking into how to solve this.

The 4 trailers included in this pack are a 3 slot flatbed, a 4 slot flatbed, a short log, and a medium log.

To install the gooseneck hitch and enable the gooseneck trailers on your pickup truck (or other truck that doesnt use a low saddle)

USE "glitchgoosehitch" AS THE SOCKET FOR THE HITCH ITSELF --- Example ---
<AddonSockets>
    <Socket> Names="glitchgoosehitch" Offset="( -1.95; 1.2;  0)"

</Socket>

</AddonSockets>

USE "glitchgoosetrailer" AS THE SOCKET FOR THE TRAILERS

You can use the same Offset from the hitch on the trailer socket and they will line up perfectly.

Original models found on Sketchup and rebuilt from scratch by me.

I figured I would tell you to help, but there is a minor glitch , maybe just for me but the 3 slot goosenecks ramps don’t unfold all the way to the ground, the ramps are still a foot from the ground when fully unfolded, but other than that the pack is awesome

I had to limit the amount they could lower because they collided with the invisible hit box for the trailer body and caused all kinds of crazy stuff to happen, like launching the trailer into the air.

Hey, just a heads up, your custom hitch doesn't seem to appear as something I can put on with your dually trucks

If you are on console, the updates to the duallies have not been approved yet.

Have the devs approved the trailer pack for consoles yet

Nice. Is there any way of using these trailers without your gooseneck hitch on a pickup? Kind of like IRs trailer pack. If the devs would just give us a common gooseneck hitch socket already! lol

I'm trying to make these goosenecks as simple as possible and right now I have 3 hitches showing up in the store. My hitch works with IR's trailers and then your hitch and Icebergs show up in different places in the store. They aren't labeled so it's kind of a guess which hitch should be installed for each different trailer pack.

Also, some of my upcoming builds have the gooseneck hitch built into the flatbed so these would have to install on top of those. I'll have to play with the setup a bit. I've never messed with trailers but would assume this has a required addon for your hitch?

I ran into the same issue with Icebergs trailers where I'd have to install his hitch on top of my built-in hitch. Serves me right for trying to do things out of the norm. lol

Like Busses said, there are technically two variations of each trailer... one version uses the vanilla low saddle socket, so if you put that onto your trucks, you can use the trailer without my custom hitch. The ones that use the custom hitch are identical to the low saddle versions. You could even make a tiny cube and program it to have the low saddle programming so it's not visible. I did this pack pretty much identical to IR's pack.

Got it and thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to avoid using the saddlelow/semitrailer tags since you also get spammed with the default semi-trailers that don't make sense on a pickup. Thx again

Have your hitch/bed use the low saddle tag similar to how the cat rock trailer works. It has its own hitch but it works off the low saddle

You're talking about the Cat770g? I'll have to look into how that coding works. Thx

Glitchworks Does this pack work like Red's gooseneck pack in regards to the socket file your talking about?

Glitchworks
Glitchworks @glitchworks

Yes, it works identical to his pack. The only difference between mine and his is my hitch and trailer line up with the same offset numbers. So, set the hitch location first, and copy the offset to the trailer socket and it will automatically be lined up perfectly.

For Consoles too?
